Sip Your Way through the Valley
The Shenandoah Valley is home to hundreds of craft breweries, wineries that rival Napa Valley, and delicious dining at farm-to-table restaurants. Enjoy the complete experience…one sip or bite at a time.
Beer and wine trails in the Shenandoah Valley combine scenic beauty and award-winning spirits. There are three trails in the Shenandoah Valley: The Shenandoah Spirits Trail, Shenandoah Beerwerks Trail, and the Blue Ridge Whisky-Wine Loop. All of these take advantage of remarkable views, vibrant cities, and scenic drives in between stops.
Many wineries, breweries, and distillaries also offer tours and live musical entertainment to enjoy while you sip.
Discover history and heritage
Try exploring the largest caverns in the eastern United States, at Luray Caverns or the oldest continually operating show cave in the United States at Grand Caverns. Both offer natural wonders at every turn that will amaze you.
Learn about the thousands of people who migrated to colonial America at The Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia. This outdoor museum of 11 fully working farms is separated into two areas: the Old World and America, showing rural life and culture in four homelands of early migrants to the American colonies and the life these colonists and their descendants created in the colonial back-country.
Your Safety is Our Priority
Shenandoah Valley Airport takes passenger comfort and safety during the pandemic very seriously. Our #SHDcares initiative includes enhanced cleaning procedures, use of electrostatic sprayers for disinfection of all surface areas, promotion of safe social distancing, protective shields at customer service counters, and additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the terminal. These efforts, along with many measures put in place by United onboard, allow peace of mind throughout your travel journey.
